Dr. Patricia Daly is the Chief Medical Health Officer and the Vice President, Public Health for Vancouver Coastal Health. She is also a Clinical Professor in the School of Population and Public Health in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia.
VCH-Vancouver Community is sponsoring two awards within the 2018 VCHRI Team Grant competition.
“Primary and Community Care are the foundation of the entire health care system.”
That’s a very powerful statement. It also happens to be the theme of the upcoming VC Research Day which is being put on jointly by Vancouver Community and the VCHRI* on November 15th.
If we don’t have the proper supports in place in primary and community care, we are putting the whole health care system at risk.
Mark your calendar for November 15 for VCH Vancouver Community’s first Research Day. The theme will be the importance of research in the areas of primary and community care – a significant topic given they are the foundation for the entire health care system.
